- Studio information: When you create a studio (organization), we collect the studio name and any customization settings you configure.
- Idea content: Information you provide when creating and validating startup ideas, including titles, descriptions, target audiences, and other idea details.
- Landing page content: AI-generated and user-customized content for your public landing pages.
- Payment information: When you make a purchase, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment card details. We do not store your full card number—only a tokenized reference and last four digits for display purposes.
- Communications: When you contact us for support or inquiries, we collect the information you provide in your messages.
Information Collected Automatically
When you use our service, we automatically collect:
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the application via PostHog analytics.
- Landing page metrics: Visitor counts, signup conversions, and feedback submissions for your public landing pages.
- Device information: Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and device identifiers.
- Log data: IP address, access times, referring URLs, and error logs for debugging purposes.
Information from Third Parties
If you sign in using a third-party authentication provider (e.g., Google), we receive basic profile information from that provider according to their privacy settings.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our services
- Calculate and display Interest Scores and other metrics for your ideas
- Generate AI-powered content for landing pages using Anthropic
- Generate hero images using Replicate
- Send transactional emails (signup confirmations, password resets) via Resend
- Respond to your comments, questions, and support requests
- Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities to improve the product
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions or unauthorized access
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
Public Information
When you enable a public landing page or studio portfolio, certain information becomes publicly accessible:
- Landing page content (title, description, benefits, features)
- Hero images
- Studio name and branding (if portfolio is enabled)
- Custom domain associations
Public pages may be indexed by search engines. You can disable public access at any time through your settings.
Information Sharing
We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: With third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, including Stripe, Supabase, PostHog, Resend, Vercel, Anthropic, and Replicate.
